About the event

Tim Barberg is a 1998 DC Graduate who currently lives in Dassel with his family. Tim studied Wildlife Management at U of MN in St Paul, and has been managing family property for wildlife for 28 years, planting 1,000's of trees and native prairie. Tim is also the wwner of Maximized Habitats, where he helps landowners with conservation practices, including native landscaping, prairie planting, tree planting and weed control.

At the Planting for Pollinators event, Tim will cover the following:

- native landscaping using natives plants

- process of creating small scale pollinator plots

- process of creating large scale pollinator plots

- management of native plantings

- invasive species control
