About the event
Brenda Johnson will teach us an easy method for how to repurpose and "up-cycle" an old sweater to make cozy winter hats! Bring an old large sweater if you have one you'd like to use. This can also be a nice way to use a loved one's sweater who is no longer with us. We will have some sweaters participants can use as well. Everyone will take home at least one hand-sewn hat. Brenda will also show us how to make a scarf and possibly mittens, depending on time.
Please email us at connect@dcsustainableliving.org if you need to cancel as space is limited!
